Research Interests: Aquaculture
Biotechnology is widely applied in animal science, and consequently has a broad impact on society. Within animal production, germplasm banks can be used as source material for breeding and as a tool for environmental restoration through fish repopulation. Our goal is to develop a wide-reaching protocol that includes several areas of knowledge to ensure the efficacy of fish reproduction and restoration. We also optimize zootechnical indices for fish reproduction techniques and give support to juvenile fish production laboratory management. In this way, our research team contributes to society by improving animal production and protecting water resources.
